Best outdoor ball I’ve ever encountered
This is not only the best outdoor basketball I’ve ever owned it’s the best one I’ve ever held in my hands period. The combination of its soft (for an outdoor ball, I’m not saying it’s as soft as a solution or evolution or some other indoor ball) cover, good tacky grip that doesn’t get slippery when you’ve got super dry conditions playing in the fall or winter, and it also doesn’t get slick when you’re drenched playing in the summer heat. If anything some moisture only helps your grip out. The grooves between the seams aren’t the deepest, and if I could customize them it’s one thing I would change to give it deeper channels. Despite that the channels are still pronounced enough to never mistake them or miss them on a quick catch and shoot. Lastly the ball of course bounces very true, if you’re on a smooth flat surface it will bounce as expected 100% of the time. When considering all those things it’s performance is already the best outdoor ball I have ever experienced. Here is the special part though. I think any basketball head knows that usually the better the feel of an outdoor ball means the less durable it’ll be. It’s a pretty cut and dry ratio in my experience too. The softest and the best gripping outdoor ball always ends up the ball that is torn up; grip becomes scrubbed down losing the dimples, or the panels peal off, or the tacky feel diminishes over time as the cover dries out. And somehow this ball after owning it since may of 2021, and playing at least 5 hours a week on average outside, is literally in the same functional condition it was the day I got the ball. Sure the writing on it has faded and there are a few cosmetic scuffs on it but none that effect the performance or feel or integrity of the ball. At this rate I think it’s going to wind up my longest lived outdoor ball I ever owned all while being the best overall outdoor ball I’ve ever owned. That combination makes this ball worth every penny they’re asking for it. It may seem like a lot for an outdoor ball, but unless you plan on losing it, the durability of the ball along with its quality makes its purchase value second to none. I’m 36 years old, been a basketball junky since I could walk, and I am a stickler when it comes to equipment like that, hah you could honestly call me a ball snob, so i assure you that the ball that I bought was well worth it and I can’t wait to see just how long this thing lasts!

A much higher level outdoor-compatible basketball
I have played with this ball for a few months on outdoor courts. The only sign of wear is the logo is rubbing off a little bit. Functionally, it is nearly like new. Great soft leather touch similar to a high quality indoor ball, much different from the dozen or so big brand outdoor balls I have owned, which quickly feel hard and plasticky. Holds air ok, maybe pump it up a little every couple of weeks. For Black Friday sale I was first psyched to see the price, then disappointed that men’s size 7 is out of stock.

Qc?
Ordered this ball and was so impressed that I bought another right afterward. The first ball was flawless, seriously similar to a Wilson solution. Second ball … Not so much. Apparently qc could be better. Second ball came with something loose and rattling inside the ball. Glue maybe? A few of the channel seams were off a little as well. It was still a decent ball and I have used it, but kinda broke my heart a little because I was so high on this ball. This ball is still better than any other 45 dollar ball out there, even if you get an imperfect one. I don’t know what kind of composite they use for the panels, but if it gets a little sweat on it, the grip increases 100%. I would order with confidence. The second ball I got was probably an anomaly. The first ball I give 5 stars, because that’s the limit, and the second gets a 3. It’s still an excellent ball.

Best outdoor ball out there
This is an amazing basketball. It is the equivalent to the Wilson Evolution that is the standard in basketballs yet it lasts and works outdoors. I bought this for my son for outside. He uses it on rough concrete and it still holds its grip and leather is in great shape after an entire summer. Even if I had to buy one every year it would be worth the money, but I see at least 2+ maybe even more seasons of heavy outdoor use for this ball. Don’t waste your money on anything else for the outdoors.

Best outdoor ball ever!
Bought this for my son. We have a very rough concrete court. He has played 20 hrs on it with this ball, and it barely shows. This will be all that I buy him from now on. Great grip as well, doesn’t feel fake either. Well worth the money.

Great Ball
We are really enjoying this new Goalrilla basketball. This is a high quality ball that has a very nice touch and feel to it. I used it for our weekend neighborhood game and the ball received a lot of compliments about the comfort and grip. If you’re in the market for a high quality durable ball; I’d recommend this one.

Pleasant surprise
Based off of another review about this being similar to a Wilson Evolution as well as the price of $43 I decided to give it a shot. After playing indoors with it I am very happy with the purchase. It does have a soft feel to it just like the Evolution. When clean it is very tacky. As it gets dirty from play it does get less tacky but not too slippery that you can’t hold on to it. I purchased this specifically for playing indoors. The one notable difference to the Evolution is the rubber used in the channels. The Goalrilla seems to be cheaper build in that area. The rubber sticks up a little more and not smooth and blended in like the Evolution. This did not affect gameplay. For half the price I would buy these over the Evolution every time.

Great ball, smells really bad.
We love the ball but it has an odor that is pretty pungent.
