PC good, Techn support OK
This PC is good. The hybrid HDD is not as fast as an SSD, but ok trade off of capacity and speed. Tech support was a little disappointing when I had issue with the DVD drive. Took over an 1 hour to decide it was a faulty drive.

I had to buy a GT1030 video card to play my old games like bioshock – everything is great as a home PC except the video card will not play anything including amazon product videos

Fast and economical with up to date hardware.
The Optane memory module makes the HDD perform as fast as an SSD. The set up was easy and the unit was economical and has current hardware. Adding hardware is a bit tricky as there is only one extra power pluginside and the online manual could be a bit more detailed.

Did Not Work – Sent It Back
We thought we were getting a nice home computer, however, the computer never worked, couldn’t even start it up. Our computer repairman was going to transfer the files off our old computer onto this new HP computer, but the new one wouldn’t boot up at all. When he took it apart, the CPU fan wire had been clearly cut off and the rest of the wire was missing. Also, there was no 8GB memory stick and both slots were empty. Our repairman had been servicing computers for years and said he’s never seen anything like this before. Unfortunately, we had to send this computer back and will be buying one locally, as to not have to go through this hassle with returning such an expensive item.

Refurb job may lack something important
Updated. Increased rating from 1 star to 3. Shipped with the 1TB hard drive petitioned into a logical drive with just the OS and about 75GB blank space. The remaining space on the 1 TB drive was in another petition that was not mounted and so was invisible to Windows. I gave it a 1 star rating because i thought i was ripped off with an inaccurate product description. I discovered this later in disk mgmt, assigned a drive letter and mounted the logical drive with the remainder of the disk space. Now I am increasing the rating to 3 star because it is not a ripoff. The computer is OK but the wireless keyboard and mouse performed so badly that i put them in the attic. The refurb job is shoddy and incomplete so you should not get this unless you are technically adept with PCs.

IT RUNS OVERWATCH AND FORTNITE
This PC runs Fortnite and Overwatch WHILE streaming to twitch lovely for the price, that being said ofc it’ll cater to your needs if you’re buying it for art or business/school 🙂
