Very Satisfied
I read some negative reviews but I always look at percentage of satisfied to make my decisions. I got this because of Windows 11 and it has bluetooth. It works great and is super fast on startup and running apps.I did have a problem connecting the LAN but then realized it was my fault because of the way I configure my network. It connected right away once I added it to my network. This machine is very nice, clean and quiet. I am recommending to others who are looking for a compact desktop pc running Windows 11!

A great upgrade from my old Windows 10 computer
The price was great for the features available, and it had additional features that my old computer did not have, like, blue tooth, SSD drive, and regular hard drive. It boots up quickly and is ready to use in about 30 seconds. Monthly Updates happen quickly. I have been using it for about three months, and I am quite pleased. Since I am retired now, I use fewer programs now than when I worked. Learning Windows 11 takes a little time, since it is different in many ways compared to 10. I did need to get a separate SD card reader, since my camera used SD cards.

BUYER BEWARE – Poor customer service if there is a problem; even when still under HP warranty!
It was a great computer for 5 months, but due to a defective 16GB ram chip the computer will no longer boot up. It has become a $550 paperweight. The computer is still under factory warranty and HP diagnosed the problem as defective ram but is only willing to send a replacement 4GB ram chip; Amazon provides no way to contact the seller, ProTech PC, and Amazon isn’t willing to help in anyway even though they advised me in an email that if the manufacturer did not provide a resolution to contact Amazon again for a solution. Have spent countless hours via email, chat and phone calls with both Amazon and HP to no avail. Yes, I know I can pony up and buy my own 16GB ram chip…but it’s the principal of the matter! $550 for 5 months of use is too steep a price to pay on a retired income. Buyer beware! If any of the parties involved would like to step up and make this right, I will be more than willing to revise my review.

Good computer to replace my old, outdated one.
Not a cutting-edge PC, but much better than the older one I had been putting up with. Much faster, and can run Windows 11 (comes installed), which my old one would not.Good at the price. Happy I got it.

Replaced Windows 10 Tower
My Windows 10 tower did not meet specs for the free Windows 11 upgrade. After 3 days of research on this HP Tower 290 G( – 16GB, 256 SSD, I core 3, I decided to order it. I’m 82 by the way. I received the Tower quickly. Changing the connected USBS, Monitor connection, etc from the 10 Tower to the 11 Tower was easy. Everything powered up the way it was supposed to and I was able to access Windows 11 with no problem. Read all instruction windows carefully and you should be OK. I transferred my copied documents and pictures from Windows 10 to 11 with no problem and was able to import all of my bookmarks. I use a separate and older Microsoft Works 9 (2007) for my word processor, spread sheets, etc.! It installed easily. I also have a 15 year old Canon Pixma MP240 that installed with no problem. I hope this review will alleviate any doubt or anxiety about ordering this product. I’ve arranged my home screen to look exactly like my Windows 10 did and I’m having no problem accessing anything from the files or the internet (AT&T Fiber Optic).
