The quality of this USB-C cable (it does not come with the base but that base is hard to break so I don’t anticipate that needing replaced like a power cord) is entirely better than the OEM provided with my laptop. That one frizzled after two years of use. This one is covered on the outside in a much thicker material.This product fits perfectly with my Mac Retina and it also connects to my Android Note and my son’s Google Chromebook that is seriously older than he is (going on 7 years old that Chromebook is!).Also, the flexibility is sooo much better than the OEM (original engineer manufacturer) cord because in my video you will see I have my charger connection, or USB-C connectors rather, on the opposite side or where my outlet is. I’ve been using this with no problems and see how long it is?Hands down, bar none, this is the one!
