Great, simple, old school data logging.
So far so good. Using in conjunction with an LC-2 O2 Sensor, MTX-L O2 Sensor, SSI-4 data acquisition (RPM, TPS), and this Logger for simple TPS/RPM/AFR logging on my Moto Guzzi 1200 V-Twin motorcycle. Admittedly it does take a bit of knowledge to setup, but as the old saying goes….nothing good comes easy. Once you figure out your setup, you’ll think “wow, that is simple”. You must use LogWorks 3 (free Innovative software) to see your data, and you also have to set that software up properly to see your data tables. The manuals do describe how to do it, but you may have to read them a couple times. Perfect for setting up a proper fueling map (AFR) for your vehicle.

Once connected it would occasionally record both rpm and afr in the correct range sometimes it would just record AFR and at other times it would record both but the range would be way off, like 9000 rpms instead of 5500 or 6000. Also no tech support from Innovate. Neat Idea but poorly executed.

The pocket logger itself isn’t bad. It’s easy to setup, it does what it needs to do.However I am adamant that the log chain is a absolute failure from Innovate. If for some reason you only want to data log the wideband, innovate does still make a good unit. But everything else that attaches to it, just does not work correctly. It’s very clunky, it doesn’t appear the effort was put in, compared to other similar priced modules, that are all in one and easier to installThis log chain in a literal nightmare to setup. If you’re looking for a simple 3-4 port data logger, this IS NOT it.
