Great docking station for dual monitors and space saving!
So far this is working great! I wanted a docking station that helped save space on my desk and allow me to use dual monitors natively with my 16 inch MacBook Pro M4. I didn’t want to use anything with display link that required you to download software and allow screen recording. This works great with no software to install. All the usb drives work great as well as it loads my external HDD right away when connected. The SD card reader works great and fast as well. It also feels solidly built and not cheap or flimsy. I feel like it holds my MacBook securely. I’m very happy with it and I enjoy the space saving design as well.

No Dual Monitor through HDMI
finding a docking station for the macbook pro max was kind of difficult. I’ve trusted ivanky products before they’ve been tried and true. This was no different, although I was disappointed that it doesn’t support dual monitor through the two HDMI ports. If you want dual monitor support you can utilize one of the HDMI ports on the ivanky 12-2 dock, but you’ll need an additional thunderbolt cable to plug from you’re M1 Max to your second monitor. I was really looking forward to having a cleaner set-up and wish this product could have done it all. Although I still recommend because of it’s durability, it’s pricey for not being able to support dual monitor on a M1 Max as it states.

Works for Dual Monitors
This is a good docking station for my MacBook Pro. The vertical stand design is a nice touch, saving desk space and keeping the laptop upright and out of the way.Setup was straightforward – plug in the power adapter, connect the USB-C cable to the MacBook and that’s it. I can use an external keyboard, mouse and dual monitors. If I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I can use those ports for other accessories.I like adding some additional USB ports since my MacBook Pro only has three USB-C ones. I still use a lot of accessories that require USB-A.The inclusion of Gigabit Ethernet, SD/TF card readers, and an audio jack really makes this a fully functional docking station. And I love the vertical stand. It doesn’t take up a ton of space on my desk and keeps my MacBook from getting knocked around.

Support Dual Monitors on M3 MacBook Air Natively
I just upgraded from an M1 MacBook Air to an M3 MacBook Air and was using a Plugable dock in order to run dual monitors with the M1. The M2 (stupidly) doesn’t natively support dual monitors without DisplayLink software, which Plugable docks support. If you don’t know, DisplayLink actually runs continuously on your machine screen recording your usage so that the apps can be separated onto more than one monitor. The M3, however, DOES support 2 monitors natively WITHOUT having to load DisplayLink on my laptop, so I wanted to try out this dock and hopefully eliminate DisplayLink in the background. I’m here to report that this device works FLAWLESSLY without any 3rd party app for my M3 MacBook Air. In addition, it provides 96W of plug in power for various devices including your laptop, along with 2 HDMI input ports for your monitor, 4 USB-A ports, 2 USB-C ports, headphone jack, and a standard SD and micro SD card reader. You will have to obviously power your 2 monitors from a separate power source.I’m very happy with this dock as I no longer have to run DisplayLink in the background as I did with my M1. Plus, I lover the additional ports that this dock provides, while keeping my laptop out of the way. The slot within the dock is lined with a rubber liner, so there is no rubbing of my laptop against metal. Yes, you will give up your two USB-C ports on your laptop to connect this dock, but the dock provides you the 2 ports you lose plus 4 USB-A ports.Overall, I would totally recommend this dock if you want to run 2 external monitors natively with your M2 or M3 MacBook. It works just fine.

Bad cables
Hdmi cables fail after a few weeks. Tried to contact the company for a return or exchange, no response.

Worth the price.
This docking station is a fantastic option for MacBook users. It provides plenty of ports, supports dual 4K monitors, and has fast charging. The build quality is solid, and it doesn’t overheat. A bit pricey, but worth it if you need a reliable dock for a dual-monitor setup.

Perfect Dock for My M3 MacBook Air
Upgraded to an M3 MacBook Air and this dock works flawlessly with dual monitors—no need for DisplayLink like the M1. It also provides 96W of power for the laptop and extra ports for everything I need. It’s sleek, keeps my desk tidy, and the laptop stays cool. Really impressed with how simple it is to set up, and it fits perfectly into my workflow. Love it!

A great thing for the home, it copes with its functions perfectly. It’s worth the money! I bought a cheaper model but it didn’t work, I changed it to this model and didn’t regret it. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

I have a MacBook Air m3 and a MacBook Pro m4, and 2 external monitors. This dock works wonderfully for me to connect my laptops to my external monitors. High quality build. Highly recommend.
