Awesome little drive
I use this to hold music and keep it plugged in my car at all times. It is very small and inconspicuous and holds a lot of music. Have had no issues at all.

A Nice Drive, Might Need Formatting
This is the second time I buy this drive (Lexar 128GB). I love its size, that I can stick it to a computer as a semi-permanent attachment – does not stick out much! The speed is good. When I copied a relatively large amount of data to it, it stumbled at a file of 7.2GB. I already knew that the original formatting has a stricter file size limitation. So, just format it and it goes smoothly – in case you need to write such a large file to the drive – it all depends on your needs (I used the normal formatting at Win 10). Either way, it works fine and the formatting (if needed) is easily done.

Excellent little units
Nice but NO LED showing any activity if thats any concern. Purchased to replace a bunch of unreliable Sandisk garbage. Very pleased with the quality and performance of these little units. I got them for my cars MP3 spot as well as my Roku enabled TVs for live-tv-pause.

Nice small size, but only lasted a year
The drive only lasted about 13 months before dying. It is unreadable now. I liked the small form factor, but can’t trust it. I just saw other reviews that said it only lasted them about a year, too.

Failed to playback properly on a Sony car radio
I bought two of these to use to play music in my cars radios. The Sony radio in one of my cars did not like this drive the music was all distorted. I tried another 128g drive I had, it worked just fine. I tried a few different reformats/reloads to see if it would fix the problem but after the a radio test I return to the computer and found the drive no longer connecting. Not sure why the Sony didn’t like it, maybe the 3.2 Gen 1 or maybe something with the formatting. The drive does seem to be totally dead now.The other drive is working in the other car with the factory radio just fine, time will tell how it holds up. By the way, I did try the other drive on the Sony, playback was also distorted.

Blazing FAASSTTTT!!!!!!
Man!!!!!! I’ll tell you what. This thing is smok’n fast. I just transferred some SUPER huge folders from both this device and the Samsung MUF-256AB. There was ABSOLUTELY no comparison. This thing outperformed the Samsung so convincingly, I’m thinking about trying to return the Samsung and get another one of these. I just got a new MBP 16” and am now forced to use a multi port dock of some sort. I’m currently using the Satechi Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter 4K HDMI, USB-C Pass Through, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/Micro Card Readers, USB 3.0 – Compatible. It performs pretty nicely as well, although it does tend to get a bit hot to the touch. Anyway, the Lexar is amazing. It’s soooo fast, I just want to transfer large files/folders just to see it smoke, LOL. But seriously, this thing is fast folks. I don’t really do reviews but this thing was sooo impressive, I thought to myself that I have to share this with people because I know how much I labored over what to get with all the claims these manufacturers make. There is a downside though. Removing this thing from the USB C dock is pretty challenging. I thought I was going to actually need to use needle nose pliers or something at one point. Do yourself a favor after connecting it……forget about it! LOLHope this helps.

This thing is tiny and inconspicuous. I have mine permanently connected to my cars USB port with more than 400 high quality MP3’s. Works flawlessly. It’s speed is more than adequate when copying tracks to it. It’s very small and low profile. So small, you might even lose it!

if you’re looking to expand the space on your laptop, this is what you’ll want to use. Be careful that you don’t damage the plastic otherwise it may fall off and you’ll need to buy it again. That being said, this was exactly what I was looking for in a low profile USB drive to stick on your laptop semi-permanently if you want to have more storage space. It worked so well I bought this twice, if that means anything, and the only reason I bought it again was that I cracked the plastic on the older version that I had.I wish they made it in USB-C!
