great drive
Really nice NVMe drive with awesome speeds. The drive also comes with a heatsink and fan built in to help keep it cool. These drives get very warm especially at these speeds. It has a nice look to it as well. I plan to be swapping it over on to my main editing machine.

Update: After about 5 days of being installed the fan on the drive starting making a high pitch whine noise that is very annoying. I have to take off some stars for that alone.The read/write speeds are very high but it’s important to note a few things here:1. You must install this drive into a PCIe gen5 m.2 slot to take full advantage of the speed. I am running this on my PC. If you are thinking of using this with your PS5 it will work fine but there are other drives that might be a better option seeing as PS5s only have a gen4 slot and cannot use this drive’s full speed, this drive will be bottlenecked at top gen4 m.2 slot speeds.2. The random read/write on this drive struggles, most drives do but this one is lower than some drives that have lower top speeds in sequential read/write.3. If your motherboard has built-in heatsink or cooling you will need to take it out to install this as it has it’s own cooling, and it has a fan cable to plug into an rgb slot on your mobo.Overall a pretty nice drive, not the best, but good, especially for the price.

Need for speed? You got it!
My boot times are now 12s faster than our old 990 Pro and I can’t be happier. Read/write seems super fast and works as expected. The included heatsink is a nice touch. I’m not yet sure if this is backwards compatible with gen4 motherboards, I sure hope it is but until I get a setup with last gen tech in it, I won’t be able to test that. According to the docs, this is only compatible with the latest gen 5 stuff. So do be careful there, it might not & likely won’t work in your gen4 setup.

When you have the need for speed…
The specs on this drive are, quite honestly, mind-boggling speeds. Speeds that in real-world practicality, can only ever be reached if you’ve got multiple similar drives in a system and are transferring data between them.I’m working on obtaining the parts for a new PC build, so I don’t even have a motherboard available yet to take full advantage of the PCIe Gen5 speeds, but testing the drive out with the fastest interface I can today, not only am I thrilled with the speed test results I’m seeing, but there’s no point posting my exact speeds because I know full well that the drive can go a lot faster once I get my new motherboard.The build quality of the included massive heat sink is great, and for those with RGB lighting controllers, it’s a neat touch to add the SSD itself into the color lighting scheme inside of a PC case.It is amazing to think that the price of this incredibly fast 2TB drive is actually less than what I paid to put a 250GB IDE hard drive in a computer build 20 years ago

BEST M.2 IVE EVER OWNED!!
The title says it all. First things first- the price. I get it. It’s about $300. But let me tell you something. BECAUSE the technology is so on point, works so well and in harmony and synergistically with one another this M.2 is running almost 3 TIMES the speed of my super fast expensive “gaming” M.2 that I have in my PC currently!I’m literally going to reinstall under this M.2 so I can have a smoother gaming experience.And the 2TB is PERFECT.Sorry guys, we don’t need 20TB M.2 to waste our cash on. THIS M.2 holding 2TB is the perfect amount. Bc think about it. What if u have “ur life” on a 20TB and it gets a virus. Yeah. No good. 2TB wouldn’t be the end of the world hopefully. Plus, with the way technology is these days why would u want more than 2TB when a new motherboard and M.7 is going to be coming out in a couple years lol.The heating works flawlessly. I MEAN WOW! Keeps my M.2 so cool and idk man. I sound like I work for the company I just realized haha.Listen. This is sick. Slaps hard. Buy it. There is NO WAY your going to regret it.
