It’s a decent jacket but only lasts about 15 minutes in steady rain. It claims to be waterproof – it is not.

Does the price justify this stowable weather solution? You’ll certainly wish you’d packed one of these if it starts raining on your anticipated hike! It won’t keep you warm in the winter, but it’s ideal for the warmer months and can be worn over other layers during the colder ones.Provided with a little storage bag, it packs and unpacks in seconds, weighs virtually nothing and (the grey one I ordered) is also quite stylish.If you want protection from the rain that isn’t going to weigh you down or take up storage in your pack, this is perfect. Aside from hiking, you could keep in stored on your bicycle, in your glove box, take it on holiday, or anywhere you like! Great product.

Excellent waterproof, breathable and packable jacket for the price! I bought a size small and it fits well leaving room for layering if required. Although, I find the sleeves a little long but fits well for my intended purpose. I have only used this jacket for bike rides and have gotten caught riding in fairly heavy rain (twice) this year for roughly 3 hours each time. From elbow down were the only parts of my body that got a little damp. Understandable as my arms are somewhat horizontal where the water can’t bead off easily and overtime water can start to pool a bit. If I shook my arms more often, I think they would have stayed dry. Also, this jacket is highly breathable as I didn’t get clamy when the tempo picked up. One other note worth mentioning is that the jacket dries out fairly quickly and can be packed away ready for the next ride. We will see over time how well this jacket performs in the rain, but I feel I have already gotten my money’s worth.Needless to say, these guys made a jacket that serves it purpose for a fraction of the cost of a gortex jacket. I am now looking at picking up a pair of their full zip overtrousers seeing that my jacket has performed well in the rain.

Still very good quality product. Light and efficient and makes you look smart. I bought one about 10 years ago and I’m still wearing it. Wanted a different colour. Buy 1 or two sizes if you want to wear it as an overcoat. It will keep you warm even if you wear it over a t-shirt. I’ve got one M and this one XL so I have options.

I love this pac-a-mac! I bought this for a holiday with some rain on the forecast and it came in so handy and kept me dry. It’s very lightweight so won’t keep you especially warm, but great for summer rainproofing. I got the khaki in XS, I’m a women’s size UK 8-10 and it fit perfectly, I was honestly impressed with the fit for a unisex jacket on a small woman. If you want to fit layers under it then definitely size up. Going to get one for my husband now, they’re perfect for summer packing.
