The Monoprice SW-12 12in 400 Watt Powered Subwoofer will add deeper bass and extra dramatic impression to any music or residence theater system. That includes a entrance firing 12in woofer, a strong 400 watt RMS amplifier (600 watt peak), and a down-firing port, the compact Monoprice SW-12 will add fuller, cleaner bass to any system in any room!
12in Driver: Measurement does matter. The heavy responsibility, lengthy throw, entrance firing driver has been engineered to provide gobs of impactful deep bass and may pressurize bigger areas. This ensures you might be listening to and feeling bass on each music monitor or your favourite film.
Highly effective Amplifier: 400 Watts of Class D Energy. Full management. Use the simple entry, rear panel controls to tune the bass to your preferences. The amount management and low cross filter mean you can mix the bass from the subwoofer into the sound out of your major audio system. The part management can compensate for subwoofer positioning and the ability mode turns auto standby on or off.
Easy Hook-Up: Plug and Play. Use the RCA inputs to hook up with a devoted subwoofer output or to preamp outputs in your amp or use the speaker degree inputs to hook up with the speaker outputs, in case your amp lacks subwoofer or preamp outputs.
Ported design.
33 ~ 150Hz frequency response.

    Large and and shipped well
These were big items. They were placed nicely at the front door (gate), and they were heavy, but my son was still able to move them inside until I got home. There were two boxes. An outer box and the box contacting the item. I did like this as it added extra protection for an item with one side that cold be fragile. The subs are perfect for someone with a nice home system that wants to move the air on those sub frequencies without moving out of the house because you took a second mortgage to buy the speakers. So for the price, a great buy. Get them while they’re hot (at least in fresno, where it is 115). Thanks!

    Great bass, some QC issues.
The sub sounds great, there’s no lack of power here. It looks nice and is well worth the price. The only issue I had was air leak on the back by the controls. It was basically leaking from everywhere it could but Amazon was great at getting it replaced.

Does what it’s supposed to and does it well!
Pretty straight foward, no gimmicks or extra gizmos to get hung up on. This sub bumps well for the price!

    This thing goes HARD
Everything I listen to is suddenly a Transformers movie trailer because I feel EVERYTHING. To quote my twenty-something coworker – this goes HARD. It’s like riding the nuclear bomb in armageddon. I had my son sit on it and I’m pretty sure he might not produce an heir to continue the family name and I’ve made peace with that. Also, pack some ear protection – you’re going to need it.

    Almost Perfect With One Exception.
This sub is a beast and for the price, I doubt you’ll find anything similar. My only gripe is when I connect it via the speaker level line input, there is little to no output, but via RCA, it’s a MONSTER. I own a stereo receiver with NO dedicated SUB-OUT, so this was a disappointment, but I found a work-around to connect it to my receiver via the RCA input. If you love the type of bass that makes the house shake, this is the sub for you.

    The best budget sudwoofer!!
1st thing is I purchase two of them. Wow!! what a great balance POP to my existing old 2005 system. This subwoofer has to be dial into whatever system you have, and results are great sounding subwoofer. No don’t just buy one of these bad boys.. Buy two as a set. trust me you will not regret it at all. I used Anti-Vibration Isolator Pads Heavy Duty Blue EVA Pads to raise them even higher off the floor. If the port is pointed towards the floor, raising the sub. will give it even a greater effect. This sub is one bad Sub. Even better then Polk audio psw505 which are twice and a half more expensive.
