Decent Speeds, Great Price
Write speed is a little slower than expected. Still a significant upgrade from a Hard Drive. I like that they included a set of mounting screws and even a tiny screwdriver. Very thoughtful.

Excellent Value
An excellent value. Item arrived in good condition and I was able to easily installed. Rather, I told my teenage son to do the upgrade. He was able to install it on to an old HP Z400 where he replaced an old 256GB SSD with this new 1TB Orico SSD. It was flawless and it the new drive has been running for several weeks without any issue.

Reasonably Good Product, Better Company.
I am somewhat dissatisfied with this Orico SSD. This SSD is a few millimeters bigger than most, and it fits flush with Orico. A case for 2.5-inch SSD drives.I think Orico is a creative and cutting-edge tech company. that seems to get support for products that are one or two generations older than the newest and best, but it makes products that are two or three generations ahead of their time.A very good example is an Orroco case from ten years ago that was made for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HD and SSD. can format and use a 22 TB hard drive without any problems so far.The brightest, best-of-the-line product with a cover that can be taken off, folds backwards, and is clear with a fan cannot work with such a drive, even after formatting it. When hooked up to a Dell laptop, the Sabrent does not see the separate interface, but the Orico does. It work with all sizes. It was 15 years ahead of its time, while the Sabrant was behind the times. such diversityBut this drive is slow. It is obviously a previous generation of internal SSD. It says it can read and write at 540 megabits per second, but I have seen others work faster and many older models like thgis sloweer.It is still worth the money, though. The price is lower than similar products on the market, and based on how long Orico products last, I think this one will last a lot longer.

Fast and reliable
This is an easy upgrade with massive improvements. I upgraded all my old laptops with this drive. It took slow computers and made them lightning fast just by replacing the drive with this drive.

So far so good for a PS4 Pro Storage upgrade!
I have had my PS4 Pro since 2017 with the same spinning and slow 1TB hard drive. I knew it was time for an upgrade and found this drive to be a suitable pick, being plenty fast enough and having a 1TB capacity for right around forty dollars! Fantastic bang for your buck and just shows how much cheaper per GB storage is these days than even half a decade ago. I was able to install a new PS4 operating system on this drive and migrate my PS4 games and stored information/save files to this drive without issue. I will probably be picking up more of these to refresh my relatives’ laptops or other old devices in need of some faster storage in this 2.5″ drive format!

Can’t beat that price for a 1tb, I tossed it in my old security system NVR as the drive was old and it’s so nice to not have the spinning sound anymore.

Sneaky faulty drive
Unfortunately, this drive wasted much of my time. I was able to install it easily; however, I repeatedly got the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) after my Windows installation, over and over again. I ran through an extensive debugging and driver updating process. Nothing worked. Additionally, the drive scan never found any errors on this drive, so I thought it must have been something else. This drive was the only new part of the PC though, and upon exchanging it for another SSD drive, what do you know? No more BSODs. So unfortunately, it was indeed this drive that was the problem, cleverly never revealing its errors through multiple scans.
