Excellent training ball
This ball is excellent for tennis training for children on a 36′ court. This is NOT the Foam ball. Both are called QST 36 and look exactly the same, but this has less density, so don’t be confused when ordering. Perfect. Also a perfect ball for dog play. It has a more controlled bounce, is softer and stronger than a standard tennis ball, and is slighter larger by a few cm’s for a better grasp by dog. The softness also will not hurt or tire out their jaw or teeth. The large pack means it will give you plenty of extras to share.

Great ball for young, beginners.
Perfect balls to use for young (3-8) beginner tennis players. Red tennis balls are made to be lower compression (less bounce) and larger than your standard yellow tennis ball, and the other colored balls (green and orange). Keep in mind that the wind will affect this ball more than the other balls because it is larger and lighter. These balls are still hard enough to hurt someone especially eyes, so play carefully. I would not recommend it for indoor use even though they are soft unless you have the proper setup with nothing breakable around. Has lasted over a year hitting once a week for about one hour with four children. They do show heavy wear though which should be expected.

Perfect for older or beginner youth players
Lower compression and larger than traditional tennis ball so it isn’t as “lively” as ball. Great for a beginner youth player as it doesn’t bounce as high and fantastic for older or beginner players on a short court because it moves slower.

These are for SOME dogs
Our 1 1/2 year old Pit-Boxer cross loves tennis balls, but we can’t throw tennis balls in the house without breaking lamps and picture frames and vases. Penn training balls to the rescue! These have very little bounce and are lightweight. Even with our cruddy tossing skills, nothing broken with these balls. Plus, they’re soft and pliable enough that our kid can chomp on them and she loves to pounce on them, sending them shooting off into crazy directions. Of course, left entirely unattended, she’ll eventually chew a hole in the ball. It’s worth noting that we sent a few of these to our parents for their dog, a 12-year-old Yellow Lab-Chihuaua cross. My parents had our problem — hard balls around breakables. Turns out these balls are perfect for apartment dwellers and their fur kid never chews these balls. Only chases and carries.

Just what I was looking for!
My girls play softball and they wanted to do light drill work in the house without breaking everything. These served my purpose for softball fielding drills in the house. They are mainly felt wrapped around a thin rubber. No weight, very light, dull bounce but I love them!

Great for dogs too
Softer and larger than tennis balls and great for my dog. Fits the larger size chuckits and flies slower, bounces softer so my dog can catch it on the fly without hurting her mouth. My dog loves these balls over tennis balls, rubber chuckit balls, squeaker balls, larger and smaller. So these are great to teach younger kids to play tennis, and great for playing fetch with your medium to larger dogs.

My dogs’ favorite
These aren’t as durable as regular tennis balls for my dogs, but the softer pressure, slightly larger size, and biased colors make these a great win. I am making a huge assumption, but I suspect that the felt and squishiness of these is probably a little easier on their teeth, too. Plus, since they bounce less they’re less likely to go over the fence. All in all, my favorite tennis balls for the yard and my pups prefer them.
