Exactly what my friend needed for his studio
I picked these up for a friend who had been homeless for 14 months before we found an apartment for him this February. He had lost everything and was camping out wherever he could find, moving every day or every other day to avoid the city finding him and making him move on.He used to help us years ago at the non-profit that we run…he ran sound board for us on Saturday nights when we had live gospel music groups playing. It was and still is a passion for him.We reconnected this past August after having lost contact with him for many years.I am driven to help him reconnect with his passion for music and sound mixing, so have been helping him get a small home studio established. These speaker stands were a provision he needed to keep the sound triangle (don’t ask me, he’s the sound guy) at the right distance for precision in mixing the audio. The stands are a reasonable price and easy enough to assemble…sturdy and can be adjusted to meet height requirements for a variety of room settings. He’s very happy with the quality and practicality of the speaker stands.

Happy with these stands BUT….
I have a pair of Yamaha HS5s speakers hooked up to my keyboard and these stands are fairly strong to hold them up BUT I wouldn’t advice to go passed the manufacturer’s weight limit of 11lbs. The HS5s weight is 11.7lbs each and they sway a little bit if you touch them. The base is big enough to keep the speakers in place as long as you leave them alone but if you have pets that could mess around them or hit them, your speakers are at risk. I don’t have pets and is just me and my wife in the house so I’m ok with them. This being said, stability is the one line I only gave 3 stars and 5 stars for the rest. Assembling was easy a quick and instructions were straight forward.

Fantastic with one flaw which required pliers.
These stands are sturdy and pretty well made, did the job for my parents’ surround sound rear speakers with one flaw – the posts do not fit the speaker cable plug through it which is frustrating. It fits through the hole but halfway through there’s a useless plastic cap blocking the plug. You have to pull the posts apart and get pliers to remove the plastic piece (see photos) – once those plastic blockers are removed, you can fit the speaker plug through and reattach the posts together and screw in the second post. Aside from that, these are easy to assemble, look good and do the job.

easy to assemble
These PERLESMITH speaker stands are a great value. I was having trouble finding stands tall enough for my Sony RS5 speakers without having to resort to wall mounting, which I really wanted to avoid. Most other stands seemed so short! These PERLESMITH stands were exactly what I needed. They were easy to assemble and are sturdy enough to hold my speakers securely. The height adjustability is a nice feature, and they extend high enough to work perfectly with my (apparently) tall couch. They’re not fancy, but they do the job well. If you’re looking for affordable and functional speaker stands, especially if you need some height, these are definitely worth considering.

A little wobbly
I have my Adam Audio 7″ monitors on these. When I started to set them up in my studio I was pretty doubtful about the build quality. These dudes are not heavy duty at all. The Adams are probably as heavy as you should put on them and even then just put them where they are going to go and don’t handle them a lot.The instructions are sparse but get the job done. However one thing they didn’t make super clear is that you have to tighten the screw in the “cup” before being able to check for level. Once the speaker is stuck to the adhesive and you’ve screwed the stand to the speaker – don’t skip that step – if you haven’t tightened it securely the top will wobble. So we wound up putting the speaker upside down on the table and attaching the stand that way. Using a post level like for fence posts we could get it in the right place and secure before finalizing the screwing in process. It will greatly help to have a second person to hold the thing down to the speaker while the other one screws it on. Definitely do this with the stand up in the air while working on the bottom of the speaker.Still and all, once in place, they are holding up okay.

Worked Great!
This stand works great for the specific set up I was working with. I do not have full height speakers. I have a portable, (but powerful), small “pill” desk top indoor/outdoor speaker that I connect to my projector. I have to set up the projector behind my couch to fit the screen in front of me. However, when I would connect the speaker in the same location, I did not like the sound behind me. This stand allows me to put it in front of me next to where my image is projecting or wherever I choose without having to go find a desk or drag over a table. Even though this stand was probably not designed for my type of speaker, I was able to use the adjustable holder where you place the speaker, to expand to the length I needed. If you plan to permanently attach them, there are adhesive stickers you can place within the holder to attach to your speaker. I placed the sticky padding in there for cushion only, but I did not take the top paper off exposing the adhesive, as I do not want to permanently adhere my portable speaker; instead I bought velcro strips to adhere the speaker, allowing me to remove it when needed. I love that the height is adjustable and when not in use I can just collapse it to the lowest height and store in a corner. Also, even though I only needed 1 I love that 2 came in the pack so if I do feel the need to get a full size speaker set or another small portable speaker to sync with my existing one, I’ll have it. I just keep in dismantled in the box. I will add that my “pill” speaker is small – it weighs only about 3 lbs, well within the 11lbs weight requirement, but the stand base is very stable. The pieces have a good amount of weight to them and doesn’t sway. I am really happy with this purchase and I recommend this product.

O pedestal é muito bom. Discreto, fácil de montar e atendeu às expectativas. Porém eu paguei quase o dobro de preço na taxação do produto. Algo que o vendedor não informa na pagina do mesmo.

It is an inexpensive, easy to assemble product and is sturdy to use. Fully serves the purpose as described. Some tiny points to raise. The tube where the speaker cables are hidden might be too small or inflexible if you has larger speaker cables. For me, I don’t mind seeing the cables hanging from the back of speakers and be seen from the front. Another point to watch out is the weight of the speakers just in case you have quality and heavy bookshelf speakers, because the base of the stand is not weighty. One suggestion for the manufacturer is to improve the design of the base, as it is almost without design input. However, overall, the outlook is still acceptable given the cost.
