I’ve been using it through the rainy season here in Northern California, While I’m traveling, and it’s definitely stylish and easy to throw on in a pinch. Super lightweight, folds up tiny, and comes with a carrying pouch that barely takes up any space in your bag. (Though stuffing it back in there is a bit of a wrestling match.)Here’s the catch: it’s very thin. Like, almost windbreaker-thin. So yes, it works for those light misty mornings or a surprise sprinkle while you’re out, but if the rain actually commits, this jacket taps out. Water seeps through pretty quick and you’ll feel it on your clothes underneath. I get that it’s meant to be ultra-portable, but I wish they’d added just a bit more heft to the fabric to actually hold up in a proper downpour.If you need something featherlight for quick errands or walks, this does the job and looks good doing it. But if you’re looking for real rain protection? Might want to keep searching.

Lightweight, easy to pack
I live in the PNW and love hiking, so a good rain jacket that is easy to pack in my hiking bag is a must. It came with a small carrying bag which I have personally not been able to get it back into, but nonetheless, it’s still condenses down into an ultra small size, which is easy for packing.It does a great job repelling water. At the time of receiving this, we had an unexpected series of sunny days, so I tested it in my sink instead by running it under a heavy stream of water for five minutes. Afterwards, the inside was still perfectly dry. The jacket itself is also a cute design, but the material is pretty wrinkly and I have not had any luck getting those wrinkles out. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this jacket and it is the perfect addition to my hiking bag.
