I’ve purchased similar Thai fisherman’s pants from other sellers and they were okay, but… not as roomy as I’d like (or need) them to be. If you’re not skinny or if you’re a stocky build, these will fit you well. I like them a lot. Seriously.They’re light weight, awesomely roomy; and, because they’re cotton, I keep nice and cool. These pants are great for practicing martial arts, stretching, yoga (if that’s your thing), or just chillin’ around the house. Tying these can be a bit of a challenge for the uninitiated (due to excess fabric), but you get used to it quickly. There’s a sizable pocket on the front right, but I wouldn’t put anything in there if you’re doing sparring, doing somersaults, etc (duh). Really, the only way these could be improved would be if they doubled the stitching for durability, but I haven’t encountered any breakage or seam ripping -which is always a good thing!This is going to be my go-to seller because, really, these pants are great.

Small 3x max, snug if you have a big booty, will buy more
I wear a size 20-22 jeans and a 2x or 3x top depending on the manufacturer and style. I am 5ft 10in tall I don’t have a flat tummy in fact I have a pouch. I also have a big bubble butt. If you find 3x pants tight these won’t fit you. If you have lypodema or lymphedema measure your legs at the thighs before you buy. There is no give. They fit like a capri trousers. very lightweight I am looking forward to working in the garden in these when it’s a hundred degrees outside because they are going to be cool and comfortable. I might add some length to the belt but otherwise I’m very happy and I’m going to buy the white ones and the green.

Strange material choice
These are a bit tight in the crotch / grundle area for an overweight person, but that happens often and isn’t specific to this item.What doesn’t happen often is getting pants made out of pillowcase fabric. I’m pretty sure I could tear these by eating a big meal and farting while wearing them. Or by thinking too hard about bending over to pick something up off the floor.Nice if you want flimsy / filmy harem-style thai fisher pants. Less so if you want to actually go out and do things while wearing them.

Measurements vs Cut = Not so Fluffy Hourglass Friendly
A friend linked me to these after seeing him in them at an event. They looked fantastic on him, & he raved about how comfy, versatile & breathable they were. So when he mentioned how fluffy-person-friendly they were because of the roomy waist/hip measurement, & then gave me the price, I knew I had to try ’em.The one thing that worried me though was the appearance of a straight-leg design. It looks like the model is female, but she’s also really thin, so it was hard to gauge how these cinched/closed at the waist, & fit on curvier bodies. But I figured it was worth a go, since the measurements looked like they’d accommodate my hips & such just fine.So I tried them on excitedly when they arrived. Just out of the package I was still a bit dubious (because the material is hella thin without even the teensiest bit of stretch), there were straight lines everywhere I looked, & the hips & legs looked mighty narrow. But I still gave these a tentative try-on.Aaaand unfortunately it turns out that my fears were completely justified. The pant LEGS went up just fine (although they did skim a little too close to the upper thigh region for my personal taste/comfort, as they were a little stovepipey), & I could tell that the waistband/hip area would fit okay too. The problem was the TOP of the pants wouldn’t go all the way up. Not because they weren’t wide enough, but bc there wasn’t enough material vertically. It fit fine -around- my body, but there wasn’t enough material to go up much past my legs. (So no matter how wide the waistband, it didn’t matter bc they wouldn’t reach up TO my waist. -If that makes sense.) They were at a little under halfway when I called it quits, bc I knewit wasn’t gonna work, & I didn’t wanna force it.This was a bummer for both me & my friend (who couldn’t understand why they didn’t work bc the circumference had been fine, or what I meant when I told him it had been an issue of cut). But it was also a major bummer for me, bc I’d kinda gotten my hopes up.. after not having ordered any clothes online in decades- because of this exact kind of issue.Anyhoo, long story short, if you’re extra curvy like me, I’d steer clear of these. They’re extremely thin like cheap polyester sheet material, have absolutely no give, and overall seem to be cut for men. (Bc straight everything. There’s no accounting for things like hip vs waist differentials, or bigger bellies, bums, etc.) That is, if you’re hourglass or pear-shaped. These maaaay work for you if you have narrow hips & thin legs. But depending on your shape, they also might just fall down off you (if you have no hiney to keep the waist up.) But either way there’s no elastic or anything to help these hug the body or stay on, so your mileage may vary.Overall, nice idea, but not meant for bigger figures with curves down south. ;/
