My identify is Rachel Worth, and two months in the past, I walked away from the proper man. Candy and humorous, and so sizzling it ought to be unlawful—we shared one magical night time. No names. No strings. I by no means thought I might see him once more.
I used to be flawed. It seems Mr. Good is the playboy grinder for the Jacksonville Rays, the NHL’s hottest new hockey crew . . . and I am his new bodily therapist. Oh, and the jerk would not even acknowledge me!
This fellowship goes to be the longest ten months of my life. Mr. Good Mistake will do something to get again on my good aspect. In the meantime, his finest pal is the surly new tools supervisor at all times using my case. Worst of all, I’ve obtained an uncooperative goalie who thinks I am unable to inform he is hiding an harm!
That is my likelihood to show myself, and I am not risking it for something. However with one surprising night time, one secret revealed, these males are prepared to check all my limits. I am unable to fall for a participant . . . not to mention three. But when love is a recreation, these guys are enjoying to win.
Bonus content material: Audio version consists of the spicy prequel novella That One Evening.

ilmari kinnunen is my new book boyfriend/husband
I’m gonna have to come back and add to this because I know this will not cover everything and I literally can’t keep my thoughts together because this was SO GOOD.Okay, from the little prequel novella, I knew I was gonna love Jake and Rachel. I already felt for them. The whole “knowing someone on a soul level” right away is commonly used in romances, but this was done on a whole other level. It deserves its own gold medal. These two were red hot from the start and I was just destroyed by their adoration for each other. The puppy dog boy and the wild girl (now that I think about it, I kind of wish we got more of Rachel with the tats and the septum piercing. That was like a big deal at first and then went away). But seriously, Jake was a softy and I loved him from the start. It’s not often you see men in fiction that are the fuzzy, cuddly type unless you’re dealing with dog-shifters and to see him in this role while also being a boss on the ice was pretty awesome.Caleb was our precious, temperamental cat who was just perfection. Don’t get me started on all his bedroom prowess because holy hell I was melted on the floor literally any time he came to play. But outside the sexy times, he was beautiful and so cute in his antics that I was giggling and smiling and just so in love with his interactions. Also, we need more Sy because DUHHHHHThen my new book boyfriend/husband Ilmari. Hockey Viking god might not be my type (unpopular opinion?), but dayummmmm if the private, quiet, superstitious, protective athlete isn’t gonna make me hop on that train. I think he was the one I was rooting for the most from the moment we met him, and maybe it was my shared bond over hip labral tears (it wasn’t), but I felt an immediate bond with his personality. His life challenges were so real, and his emotional journey and conflict with the polyam exploration was perfect and done very very well. That actually was one of my favorite things about this romance. It’s an exploration of polyam that I personally haven’t seen yet (hey, I read a lot, but not as much as others). I think what always hits me harder is the late discoveries and journey to learning the self. A lot of books gloss over the “I’m already out” or “I’ve known I was gay/bi/explored before”, but this one really focused on that feeling of growth. Of that fear of learning something and not knowing what it means. Of being afraid of what comes after or how it might change things. But we get to see so many angles of this relationship. It’s more than just Rachel and the three boys. It gets deeper and doesn’t shy away from tough angles. Also, 5/5🌶️. I’m sure that’s what everyone is reaaaaally curious about. And, like, I very rarely give out the 5🌶️. It just didn’t stop, and at the same time, never felt too gratuitous or overdone. It was steamy, it was tasteful, it was kinky, and it was exciting. I was never bored, because it felt like something new every time rather than the same scene over and over again. Then you get the story plot, which is definitely secondary to the romance main plot, that didn’t quiiiiite live up to my full appreciation, but it still felt incredibly satisfying. I think I would have loved to see more of how Rachel’s work evolved, even in just a throwaway capacity. We got to see how Ilmari’s plot line finished, but not as much about Caleb, Jake, and Rachel. Maybe Rachel got some PT going for Caleb and his pain level dropped. Maybe Jake got to be captain, or flattened that buzzard who hurt Caleb (or maybe the guy got kicked out of the league for fighting or doing something bad so they didn’t have to worry about him anymore). Yeah, I guess that’s all getting into fanfiction territory… whatever, I want some more stories to add to this HEA.Overall, my first read of May and it’s on my list for best book of the year.

Rachel and her guys
I’m glad I didn’t know this was over 700 pgs long or I would’ve never started it. There’s a lot that goes on in this one. I loved Rachel most of the time. She’s strong, fierce, dynamic, and very smart. She also has tons of insecurities and she tends to run and hide when things get tough. She has issues that she’s always working to overcome. Her childhood was difficult but she also made some bad decisions that made her life more complex. All her guys have issues too and they don’t handle them as well as Rachel. Jake falls for Rachel first and he’s in deep. He admits his love right away. But he’s also in the closet about parts of his sexuality. Caleb isn’t out but he’s admitted to himself that he’s bisexual. He just has to come to terms and admit who else, besides Rachel, that he’s in love with. He also feels he’s less than Jake because he’s not a pro hockey player. He also has a couple of interesting kinks that Rachel had to help him open up about. Mars is completely closed off. He puts himself outside the team, he doesn’t communicate and is a bit of a loner. Only Rachel can see inside him. He’s the guy who lives to work and that’s his life. His work is to be the best goalie for the team. He also dreams of being on the Olympic team and will do anything to get there. He has an injury that he’s trying to hide, esp from Rachel.I love the dynamic between these characters. This is one of few RH where the guys weren’t really all great friends to begin with so it was hard for them to accept and agree to share Rachel. They didn’t all agree, there was very little trust, they had to compromise and everything had to be discussed. The story moved forward quickly when everyone was in synch. The parts of the plot that dragged for me were when the same issues within the group kept repeatedly coming up, like each guy had insecurities about where they stood with Rachel and she had to repeatedly (multiple times) reassure them. It was the same conversation, the same dialog, over and over again. Then there’s Rachel’s fear that her past will ruin everyone’s lives. That was an ongoing thing in her head and with her friend Tess and family. Same discussions kept coming up repeatedly. Everyone was bogged down by their insecurities and the plot stalled for me at that point.Eventually, when they became more comfortable in their relationship, the plot quickly moved forward and everyone got their HEA. It was a long road but well worth it. Loved the story but still think it’s too long and I didn’t like the repetition.

Please save yourself from reading this. The characters have 0 personalities, their pov’s can’t be differentiated, and the plot is so lame. The spice of this book is boring because it is ruined by the dialogue. If I could, I would give this book a 0.

I have so many things to say about this book. First of all it’s super hot, I was surprised by how spicy was 🌶️🌶️. Second, the build up is fantastic, despite being a quite long book, it was really fast paced. I loved the fact that it didn’t jump right in. We start with Rachel and Jake, then add Cade, then add Mars. We get to see every aspect of theirs relationships, them wrapping their heads about being a nonconventional couple, their hardships with themselves but also one another. It starts with such a simple even that evolves into a beautiful complex storyline. You could really see their personalities and feelings shining through. It felt realistic enough to add another layer in the story.

Two months after Rachel and Jake share a hot as hell night in Seattle (𝘨𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘭 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵), she starts a new job as a fellow sports doctor for a new NHL team in Florida. The thing is, her night with Jake was a one time thing, no name or phone number exchange, just the best night of their life… 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳 ;)Because of course life always has a plan and her unforgettable mystery man is non other than the starting defenseman of the team !!He’s this golden retriever, unapologetically obsessed with his woman type of man and I loved him ! He’s also Caleb best friend…Caleb, the moody hot af queer, 4 times pierced *there* Daddy, also known as the equipment manager of the team.Team with Ilmari aka Mars as goalie, the complex Finnish (teddy)bear with a big heart to match his 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 big “heart” lmaoLet me tell you, this book has me in chockhold !! It’s been month since I read it and I’m 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 😭The character and relationships development is perfection, I absolutely loved their maturity.Rachel, Jake, Caleb and Mars have their own journey and there’s depth to each of them, but they also grow and learn with each other. They navigate their feelings and this new dynamic, facing their fear and wants while building their relationship together and with each other. There’s a place for each of them to explore their love and needs since this is new to everyone, and it all just fits perfectly !Their love is pure and healthy, just like their communication, it was everything !!And the spice was 𝙎𝙊𝙊𝙊𝙊 𝙂𝙊𝙊𝘿 ! Emily knows how to bring the heat 🔥This book is complete perfection, go read it NOW !!5⭐️ 4.5🌶️* Why choose / Poly* Hockey Romance* Insta love* Friends to lovers* Forbidden love* Daddy* MMFM / MF / MM / MFM / MMF* Found Family

Lord have mercy on my soul after this book! I am in love with all four of them and this storyline! There is so much banter, making moment’s hilarious enough to make me cry. There is so much love and longing that your heart will break and patch itself up over and over. So much 🌶️ and ❤️…. Incredible😭🤌🏼Rachel fell in love with them all starting with Jake, Caleb and then Ilmari. She accepted them from the start and understood what each one needed. She helped them through their hurdles as individuals, allowed them to accept things on their own terms and in their own time. She openly loved them and accepted everything about them.Quote; “Jake is my joy. Caleb is my comfort. Ilmari is my rest.”Jake; Sensitive, emotional, whiny, determined, loving and loyal. This man can bring anyone to their knees with how he loves whole heartedly. Jake fell in love with Rachel at first site and continued to love her regardless of everything else. Jake opened up to loving best friend and DLP in the most beautiful way making him self free from the hold it had being quiet.Caleb; Thoughtful, Kind, Over thinker, determined, Loving and Loyal. This man puts everyone else fist despite losing everything he ever loved. He let go of his anger and put all of his trust in both Rachel and Jake to only fall in love with both and making them his family, Ilmari included.Ilmari; Devoted, Strong, Levelheaded, Determined, Loving and Loyal. This man who couldn’t trust a soul put his life on the line to trust Rachel with his secret. He fell in love with her in an instant, accepting her and the love she had for both Jake and Caleb, opening his heart to them. He showed nothing but strength and loyalty to all of them. They became a unit, a team, a family.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥/5🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
