Turn it on and it plays tada!!!
With all the Bluetooth and wireless Wi-Fi sound equipment out there plus Bluetooth that didn’t connect Wi-Fi not available endless problems and we have a one gig Wi-Fi connection as well. We decided to go back to old school and buy an old fashion 750 W stereo!!! This unit has never seen above level four because it’s so loud !!! hook it up with your favorite speakers. I enjoy Yamaha’s. This has six channels which is beyond my comprehension for the price point. The best part is you turned it on and it plays. It has an FM a.m. and you can use USB and SD cards which I highly recommend the sound is much better with a USB versus any Bluetooth. The unit does have a Bluetooth, however Bluetooth signals are not as strong as a true digital signal say from a CD. Had the unit for six months or so and it hasn’t let me down like my Bose Bluetooth or Sonos that you have to reset or it doesn’t work go turn on your phone re-link it, the power on power off and then power it on again oh and then power off and then re-sign back in to the app and then hit Bluetooth on and Bluetooth off. I hope you get my Drift. Turn it on and it plays!!

PYLE PTA62BT.5 Six-Channel Amplifier – Great, compact, versatile unit at a great price.
I really like this receiver/amplifier. I’ve been looking for a compact multi-channel stereo amplifier for years that will fit into a shallow cabinet in my hallway and allow separate speaker zone control with ease. I especially like the separate volume controls for each channel. I have one channel running speakers in my shop, another channel running speakers on my patio under my pergola, and will eventually use another channel to run speakers in my kitchen and possibly a fourth channel to run a pair in my living room.Setup was fairly simple and straightforward. I have had some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity, but that probably has more to do with my phone than with the unit.I only have two suggestions to improve this unit:1) The instructions indicate the location of the sub-woofer outputs on the back of the jack, but don’t give any detail about them. Since I haven’t connected a sub-woofer to the unit yet, I don’t know if the sub-woofer output us dedicated to a specific channel or if it is shared across all six channels. It would be nice to add some explanation of this to the User Manual and to advertising materials and efforts.2) I have limited range when using the Bluetooth connection. I know that the problem is mostly due to my placement of the amplifier within a cabinet and the fact that there is usually an exterior wall between my phone and the amplifier. While the built-in extendable Bluetooth/FM antenna is basic and functional, it does not appear to be something that could be upgraded. It would be nice if the antenna on future product versions were removable and could be replaced with an upgraded or powered/amplified antenna for increased range, similar to the way they can be in WiFi routers.Overall I am satisfied with the product and look forward to using it. Once I find the time to connect a sub-woofer, I will update this post with my findings in case anyone is interested.Update 07.07.19 – it turns out the sub-woofer IS shared across all six channels…meaning when I have my patio speakers running on Channel A, the sub-woofer I have connected in my shop is playing even though the shop speakers on Channel B are turned all the way down. Not the best design, but things still sound good and for the money, it’s a great unit.

Bose replacement
This unit is a great solution to replace a dead Bose Lifestyle 48 acustamas. I was able to connect it to a Roku TV Ultra via bluetooth (no noticeable sound latency) and now reusing the house wired 5 surround speakers with individual speaket volume control.

Pyle makes strange products <-- UPDATED UPDATED I have a love-hate relation with Pyle products. I had a different model of 6 channel amplifier that burned up after about 9 months. Even though it was still under warranty, paying shipping both directions was a healthy chunk of what it would cost to buy a new one, so I decided to buy this instead. What I found is that the directions and the labeling on the unit itself is completely confusing, but correct. Channel A volume control sends only the right channel to two sets of speaker connections. Channel B volume control sends only the left channel to two sets of speakers. The same is true for C/D and E/F channel pairs. The only way to get stereo to a room is to send half of it from channel A and half from channel B - which means that you end up with two rooms that are yoked, with the left channel controlled by channel A and the right by channel B. I'm completely at a loss as to why this design makes ANY sense at all! Pyle tech support told me that the unit is a mono mix in each channel, but that's wrong, too. If you intend to use this to control audio to multiple locations, the only real way to make it work is to somehow mix your incoming signal to mono before it reaches the unit so that the incoming left and right signals are both carrying the same mono signal. If you can live with this, I'd say the unit is still a great bargain, but if you are after stereo distribution, don't spend your money here. Sadly, I've messed around trying to figure out this issue long enough to miss the return window. FURTHER UPDATE: Pyle tech support asked for a video demonstrating the problem. When I created and sent it, their response was not "oh, this is bad, I'm sorry", but instead "thanks. We'll tell the advertising people to update the description". No attempt to fix it for me. Kudos to Amazon customer service for issuing a refund anyway.
