So far so AMAZING.
Wow. I’m excited to find something to watch in 4k. My broadcast provider service is only in HD, so most of the shows were underwhelming as pretty much expected, but there were a few commercials that I’m not sure were in 4k, but some of the graphics looked so 3D, they looked like they were outside of the screen and I could almost grab them. It was so stunning I believe they were created that way on purpose for the highest definition televisions. What a difference. Since then I’ve been extra excited to see a higher quality movie. Probably going to rent one.Setup was definitely tricker than any of my other televisions as I was on my own for most of it, albeit they are half the size, less than half the weight and required 2 screws for plastic stands.I was able to unbox this by myself even though instructions advise against it. I recommend opening a long end of the box to remove the heavy stand pieces if you don’t have help. I had to do so in order to slide the box gently up my narrow stairs. Wasn’t easy, but I managed all of the assembly on my own until it was time to lift the fully assembled television off of the table and onto the television console table. The stand makes it way too heavy for one person to lift with two hands, and the tv is too wide to safely do so anyways, since there are only a few safe spots to grab onto the television without damaging it(also clearly marked on the instructions). I had to wait a few hours for assistance moving it to its final spot.I wasn’t able to assemble it on the console table in the first place and just tilt it back up when finished because my console is far too narrow and close to the wall, and too heavy to slide out. It was easier clearing off my wide coffee table and laying a soft blanket as well as the protective sheet of foam it came with and work on there. The stand hangs down lower off the edge, which is why it can’t be assembled on the floor. It would seriously damage the television to try to do so. Assembly isn’t actually difficult to understand, it’s rather simple actually. Things slide/click into place beautifully and there are only a few easy screws. it just takes longer if you attempt any of the lifting steps on your own. Highly recommended two people, it would’ve taken 20 minutes tops.Once it was in place, attaching the connect to the back of the stand with the two screws, and attaching the cables, was cake.(Love that a longer cable is included just in case you’re not attaching the connect box directly to the television).Remote was already charged enough to setup, and everything went flawlessly from there on out. Setup was clear and easy. Had to create an account (turns out I already had one from 2016), and sign into a few things like Alexa, Peacock, and a few other services.. and then it time to enjoy. The sound is AWESOME. I don’t even need a soundbar. At least not in my current living room. I haven’t had the volume up past 11, and had to turn it down to 7 shortly as to not disturb the neighbors on the other side of the wall.My camera definitely doesn’t reflect how large the screen is, or the clarity of the picture, but it at least shows that assembly was a success and this gorgeous tv is fully functional. It’s also heavy and very stable, so I don’t feel the need to rush for wall anchors as suggested.

Great TV; lives up to the hype
I was surprised recently when I read a negative review of the Samsung S95F OLED HDTV, because it’s such a great product. Maybe that person got a lemon, or just didn’t know how to set it up; who knows. Anyway, my experience with this TV has been nothing but superlative. We’re using it in our study, where it seems even larger than its 55″ screen, partly because it replaced a smaller set.I was initially concerned when the UPS delivery person brought it, because the package was opened at the top flap. It looked like someone had tried to put a few strips of thin tape on it to hold it down, which didn’t work…so I carefully inspected the TV to ensure it wasn’t damaged. Fortunately, it was still in pristine condition, and all the accessories were still there. The television’s assembly was pretty straightforward. It helped a lot to watch an online unboxing video that showed how to assemble it, rather than just trying to figure it out from the instructional diagrams. The set went together pretty quickly, with only one glitch. That involved attaching the stand to the back of the set, where the screw holes didn’t appear to be aligned properly. It took a lot of effort to get the screws in (yes, I knew what I was doing), but eventually got them in okay. Once that was done, the rest was a snap.I like the way the cords attach to the box on the back of the stand: very simple, functional, and elegant. The set’s weight was also manageable, with two of us positioning it onto a stand without difficulty. It was then time to fire it up.The television came on without incident, with instructions about how to set it up. I was a bit surprised that the setup process, along with its various adjustments, was considerably less obvious than that of a Sony OLED we also purchased recently. I also prefer the Sony’s remote control configuration, but the Samsung’s are still okay. No big problem here. Now, about the picture. This television has an amazing picture. It’s at least as good as the Sony’s, and I can imagine that many people would prefer it. I especially like the set’s minimal reflectivity, as it’s in a room that can get a fair amount of light at times. The sound is also better than most current HDTVs without the use of a soundbar or other sound quality upgrade. As expected, 4k input really pops. It is kind of surprising to see the quality of other formats, especially Blu Ray (non-4k) discs, on this set. They look amazing, but 4k Blu Rays like Oppenheimer and Dune really blow your mind. We also have over-the-air broadcast television set up via the old-school coaxial input, and it looks good, too (varying by program, of course).I imagine that the big questions for a lot of people are whether the set lives up to its hype as a flagship model, and whether it’s worth purchasing at this price point. I’d say ‘definitely’ for the first, and ‘probably’ for the second. The features, quality, and viewing experience of this set assuredly place it in the top tier of current televisions. It’s certainly a high quality item that really delivers a top-notch viewing experience. Combine it with a decent surround system and you’ll be amazed. As for the price point, well, it’s a lot. You can get a really good (and larger) OLED set for less money, but if you can afford it, I’d say this Samsung S95F set is a real contender. I know a lot of people who swear by Samsung TVs and, while this is my first Samsung set, I’d say I’ve joined their number. Great product.

absolutely beautiful picture quality!
Absolutely stunning picture quality. The 4K OLED display makes everything look vibrant and true to life. Brightness levels are excellent and really shine during nighttime movie sessions. Colors and contrast are incredibly accurate, especially with OLED HDR Pro. The AI processor handles motion and clarity very well. This is easily one of the best TVs for movie lovers in 2025.
