Unbelievable speed!
I thought my old 990 PRO was fast, but it cannot compare with the blazing speed of this device!One note of caution: If you want to check it out with Samsung Magician: First update Magician to the very latest version. The older version does not recognize this new device and will declare it counterfeit. The very latest version works just fine!One more point: You will only get its maximum speed if you connect it to the latest PCIe bus (Version 5.0 or later). Don’t complain if you use an older PCIe bus!

Definitely worth the money
If you are running PCIe-5 motherboard, then this should be your only choice. I have several older Samsung models which have run 24x7x365 for the past 9 years 9 months. Can’t say enough about their performance and built in error correcting technology. Hats off to the Samsung engineers for designing such high speed and reliable storage. This is one of the few products I would rate a 6 out of 5. (Amazon needs a legendary star for products like this).

I wish it came with a motherboard screw.
Super easy to install/clone with two m.2 slots on motherboard with Samsung Magician.Putting it in took about 2 seconds.It took me longer to find a screw to screw it into the motherboard than actually putting it in. I had to bring out all of my old old old boxes etc and it ended up being in my PSU box not the box the motherboard came in.Just open case, unplug psu cable connecting from the wall outlet to the case, insert drive, screw in, easy.In file explorer it shows as 3.63tb but that is normal.

Beware the large heatsink
If you get the heatsink version, it’s likely the drive’s footprint is too large to be properly installed on modern motherboards that already have adequate M.2 cooling built in.For this reason I highly recommend saving a few bucks and getting the non-heatsink version.

I’ve received my 4TB version today, First Samsung Magician software refused to check for a firmware update and says this product is counterfeit… I figured later on that it’s the version 8.1 of that software is the problem, the latest version is 8.2 says the SSD as genuine, so be on that version… Issued a refund with Amazon, then cancelled the refund. Windows did not install on this SSD yet, pce-5 issues. on bios trying to figure those out on now.EDIT: Added one more star. Finally got this to work on my ASUS motherboard. Before, even data transfer to clone from Samsung software was failing at 99%. Windows installations failed at 77% always. Make sure the standard stuff is setup, like UEFI boot and secure boot is enabled. But the trick for me was to unplug every other M2 SSD drive from my MB. I had three others on other m2 slots. I don’t know if this is an 9100 pro problem or a Windows installation problem.
