Great quality product
Great fit. Remember, it protects from being cut by an ice hockey blade, not against a puck. Its made of material that can’t be cut by a sharp object.

More flexible and comfortable than most
I purchased this when my son’s high school hockey team made it a requirement. He had one from the team, but complained it was thick and prevented movement of his head. So, I purchased this one and he said it is much more comfortable. Obviously, there is an adjustment period when wearing a new piece of equipment, but it is softer and more flexible (not going to protect against a puck, but would protect against a blade cut). It has Velcro on the back, so very adjustable and he can make it snug but comfortable. Very pleased with this and would recommend to other hockey players.

Fits well but Velcro is scratchy
10U player has no complaints except for the Velcro scratching her hairline at the back of her head. Fabric doesn’t impede head movement at all.

Must Get backup neck guard for youth hockey.
got this as a backup neck guard to sit in our hockey bag. I forgot his normal one once and had to barrow another families. after that we will always have this one ready. Seems to be of decent material and quality. son has no complaints about it. Better material than those I grew up with back in the 90s.

Big for a youth and includes too much packaging and excessive tags. To rip the tag off would rip the seam.

Light weight and comfy
My hockey player said this is the most comfortable neck guard he has ever worn. Not thick like other brands which gives more breathability and keeps your neck cooler.

If you’re going to make a photo look like this gaurd has some actual thickness and contours, maybe your product should match. This looks and feels like somthing that wouldn’t stop a butterknife, nonetheless a skate blade in motion. Would not put this on my kid and expect safety. And for 60$? A few wraps of toilet paper, would provide better protection then this trash. Figure it out.

shock doctor messed up on this one, this neck guard looks nothing like the photo, it’s stiff and only protects your neck not your collar bones. Returned for a refund.

Nothin g like in the picture, picture gives you impression of this being rugged and sturdy, being able to hold shape as in the picture. In fact it’s a piece of cloth. If you’re looking for a gorget type solution m, look somewhere else.
