Fits a Little Loose, Fashionable More Than Practical But A Neat Hat
I bought mine in “grey” and it is light grey, not a dark grey. Just an FYI.Also, I typically require a “larger” hat size (I usually use a 7 1/8 sized hat) and this fedora was ordered a S/M (Small/Medium) based upon the reviews of previous buyers. Even a S/M is none to small, and in fact a little “loose.” Not to say I am unhappy with this hat, just keep the sizing in mind. There is a lining in the entire hat to give it shape, thus the straw is not as “breathable” as one might expect. And my final criticism (if it is a valid one) is the brim is rather small. Fashionable, yes. But be aware it may not afford as much UV protection as you might be looking for.You will note I gave this hat 4 stars as it does have a good look, no frays or loose seams and it was received in a sturdy box ahead of schedule. I have not bought mine so much as a fashion accessory but rather as some UV protection (I’m fair skinned) aside from the typical ball caps which afford no protection for the ears. The hat is stiff (as it should be), well shaped and uniform in color.My wish list (for my purposes) would include a slightly larger brim and a slightly tighter band but overall this is a neat hat and I will consider another, just to mix the colors a bit.

Decent blue straw hat with flaws. I usually wear larger hats, so I ordered the large /extra large the first time. The hat arrived in an appropriate size box and good airbag padding, but the hat was very crumpled up. I was able to un-crush it and reshape it by leaving it on top of another hat. It was quite large so I put some strips around the headband, but it was still too large. The hat was cheap, and I like the blue straw, so I ordered a small/medium. Again it arrived all crumpled up, only this time worse. I am still reshaping it, but I think it will be okay. This small /medium size option fits my head, whereas I usually take a large. Three stars for crumpled and bigger than normal size.
