Good sound, tv’s vary with it for navigation, use the sb remote, CS was very good.
I gave it a 4 at this point. One, it’s not that intuitive to set up with my TV, a new 40″ TCL with google operating system. Never had one, have done Roku stuff the past few years. Also, trying to get customer support via their phone number, has been fruitless. No answer, they say they’r too busy “assisting other customers, call back later.” I think the support “center” is a low budget operation.That said, the sound quality is great for a small unit with no woofer/subwoofer. It’s in the bedroom so not that big a deal.I had everything hooked up right with HDMI Arc to HDMI on soundbar. No sound. Went into settings, audio, chose arc. Went into advanced settings and clicked on Audio out which says “PCM” to the right. All should be good. No sound. Made sure soundbar was powered up. Finding the right mode for arc is tricky. They say the LED light should be orange for arc but when I look at the LED from different directions, the light color is different. Short pushing the power button after long pushing power (up) puts it in blue tooth mode, second short push should be arc but I can’t tell from the light. After getting help from Amazon tech support, then TCL tech support which was good, we got it going but it is still evasive. I’m using the TV remote for the bar also; every time I turn the power off on TV remote, when it powers up again, no sound. Though I changed no settings. I run through the shut down, then power up by pushing on the soundbar remote power button, try to find the right mode and sometimes it gets sound, although I’m not sure what I did to get it. A couple times I hit the Home button icon and then when I went to a program, the sound was there, which I said was quite good for a small unit. It seems a bit of a hassle; as I said, no luck calling them or any tutorials online that address my issue. Maybe it’s that my TV is different, compatible but not intuitive. Everything is hooked up properly but I think it has to do with the mode button where I can’t always tell where I am. Still working at it. Gets a 4 in the early going, sound is good; maybe my sequence will become more consitent.After all that the Assistrust people called me back; I didn’t evern leave my info; they noticed that my call went unanswered and phoned me back. Very knowledgeable and helpful support person. I was right in my assumption: TVs are different; function differently with the soundbar. In summary, if one turns off and on the sound bar with the sound bar remote; my HDMI mode stays put. Sound works. They admit the LED light is not adequate, so always use the sb remote to set up your session. Even among the same brand TVs, there is a lot of variety. Use the sb remote when in doubt. There is the mode button on the remote, use that if you are not sure. There is a bluetooth button with the weird icon, an arc, an opt and an aux. Use those if in doubt. Happy camper for this weekend here. Very pleased with the customer support. Did not expect them to call me back, esp late Friday afternoon. Bumping up the rating from 4 to 5.

Crisp clear sound for elderly mother.
I purchased this sound bar for my 88-year-old mother. Her hearing is failing and since her eyesight is also failing, I wanted her to be able to hear the TV crisply and understand what was happening on TV. Just hooked it up and she can already notice the difference. It was very reasonably priced and seems like an easy fix so far. I would recommend it.

Two ways to use as a sound bar or independent speakers and cost is reasonable.
Easy to put togather great sound. I added it to my visio tv and my xbox it’s amazing.

These are OK, however they do have some issues.1). The auxiliary connection cuts out at times.2). No bass control (however not an issue for modest use).3). The ARC connection seems to work best…when it wants to.Overall, when working properly they’re OK albeit the speakers having a mind of their own and frustrating.
