It is a solid rubber ball. Very bouncey (as to be expected). The colors are nice and for practice it’s fun. I don’t recommend using this to practice for competitive gameplay or using in gameplay as it is way too bouncey. Colors last a little longer than I anticipated which makes it still look cool. Solid product overall and good value
