Sleek TV with, with FM radio functionality and built-in DVD player
I really like this light-weight TV, but for now I will be using it in my new home until I get my dream RV. It is easy-to-navigate, easy UI, and works as expected with clear picture and great audio. I like that it has a full HD TV support DC 12V/24V power supply, DC wide voltage 10.5V-28V. Full HD quality and even has FM radio functionality, so I can listen to my favorite radio stations at home if I want to. Built-in DVD player and supports a multiple type of inputs. I am not sure if I will take it on the road or might just need to buy another one, so I can keep one at home. I am very impressed and I highly recommend it.

Not at all Happy (Up Date)
I purchased this 5/1/2024 Aug 2024 the DVD player no longer works. The TV worked fine up till now but the volume is way to low to hear in our small travel trailer. I’ve tried several ways to hook it up to our soundbar without success.After a couple of emails with pictures showing them the DVD read errors I got in touch with “Maggie” a service rep who shipped me a replacement TV, honoring there one year warranty. I increased my rating to 4 stars, the sound is a bit weak when running appliances in our RV.

Ultimate customer satisfaction
Used this tv on our 4 months camping trip this summer. The coaxial connection broke during our trip, but Sylvox honored the 1 year warranty and replaced the tv. They made sure a new TV was sent to my home when we returned. Great service, fantastic response to my problem and the TV is of great quality, giving us a wonderful tool of entertaining ourselves during our stats at different campgrounds in the US and even Canada. Thanks Sylvox, picture quality and great value for the price, perfect size for the small camper.

Updated: I primarily use the audio out wired into the input switcher in my motorrhome. I also have added unbalanced to balanced converters to all my audio connections. With these adapters the hum that was getting into my audio has been eliminated. The TV has functioned okeydoke mostly using for HDMI connection to Google tv devices. Dvd player is ok for regular non blueray like most I dustry systems. Bought to replace an old 22″ Jensen in my 2014 Winnebago Trend. Sadly only one HDMI but I knew that going in. Usually the system we used had the tv speakers turned off so the audio l&r out went into the main radio aux inputs for much better sound. The menus are very similar software wise but there isn’t anywhere you can disable the TV’s physical speakers. It required the placement of a 12v jack for a cigarette adapter for power instead of the old Jensen style DC cord. Hopefully it works for several years. Used the existing mount and fit inside the original tv space.

Very nice TV, but lacking customer service
The overall TV is really nice for the money spent. However, in this instance, the DVD player was not functioning properly, so I had to return it and request a replacement. Just a note as to the product support from Sylvox–it’s horrible. You will not be able to speak to a technical assistant; you will initially speak with an employee who will take down your order information and then supposedly pass it on to the tech dept. Expecting a call from the tech dept–not, four days later all you get is an email suggesting a fix for the problem. And if that doesn’t work, you have to go through the whole process again of contacting them by phone. There is no way to reply to the tech email. If I didn’t like their overall product so much, I would have nothing to do with this manufacturer again. So, buyer beware.

Decent TV
TV looks and views well. Sound is low even when using an external speaker, Volume level will not go high enough even with external speaker turned to full level. Last TV in the RV would blast sound w/ external speaker but not this one.

This smart TV with DVD player arrived very well packaged and included the remote control, an AC adapter, a base, a power cord, and a user manual.This TV can be powered with AC power as well as DC power from 9 to 32 Volts.The TV is 22 inches and the perfect size for a trailer or boat. It comes with stereo speakers built in so you do not need to add extra speakers which is great when your space is limited. You can also connect the TV to a headset via Bluetooth which is great if you want to watch and not disturb anyone. The sound from the speakers is decent and more than enough for a small space like a boat, trailer, or even a bedroom.The TV is a smart TV and is powered by Android so you can put on Google Play apps. It has Google TV built in. When connected to WI-Fi you then have access to apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney, and more.When you first turn this TV on it walks you through setting up Google TV with your Google account. You can also just set up without Google TV but using Google TV adds a lot of features and links it with your Google Home. Set up was very easy but just scanning a QR code on the screen and then it walks you through setup.There is also a tuner built-in or you can add a TV box to watch digital TV.The built-in DVD player is nice but I would have preferred to see a Blu-Ray player. The TV has HD 1080p resolution and a DVD player does not take advantage of this resolution. It is not a huge issue however since I will mainly be streaming my movies.The 1929x1080p true high-definition resolution is great and the wide viewing angle of 178 degrees is perfect since this will be used in a smaller space. There is also a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 60Hz refresh rate adding to the quality of the picture.The picture on this TV is very good. It is bright and the image is very sharp. There is no lag with fast-moving scenes. The blacks are good.You could even use this TV for gaming by connecting your game console to the HDMI input on the TV. There are 2 HDMI inputs and 2 USB inputs so you can also play movies off of an external USB source.The product page mentions that the interfaces on this TV are all treated with moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant insulation so this can be used on a boat as well. Even the battery compartment on the remote control uses a rubber gasket to prevent moisture from getting in.I am very happy with this smart TV. It is loaded with high-end features and very good quality.If you are looking for a versatile smart TV that can be used in a trailer, on a boat, or even in your home then this is a good choice and I do recommend it.

This is a 22″ TV, with special features for things like installing into your RV or boat. You don’t have to do that, as it comes with a power brick to hook it up to a standard outlet, but I wouldn’t waste a TV like this for using it at home. It has Google TV pre-installed. Personally, I really like Google TV as an OS, but it tends to be slow on slower hardware. I don’t know if it’s the wifi antenna, but set up was very slow. Updating my Chromecast with Google TV was way faster. Once it’s all updated, it works well. But still a bit of lag. Might not be an issue though depending where you’re using this. If in a car or boat, you likely won’t have wifi. The built-in DVD player works great. The remote is quite bulky, but I assume that’s also for moisture protection. The screws on the back of the remote are bad though. 2 of 4 were already stripped, and it was a paint to remove. The TV colours are fine. You’re not here for the best quality, but darks were pretty roughs. The speakers are probably the lowest point. These are downward firing speakers, and it’s worse than listening to much off my phone’s speakers. But it does get very loud. Good for outdoor settings. I hooked this up to my car as well, and plugging into the 12V port worked great. Wish the wire was long though, so we could run the cable from the front seat to the trunk of the SUV to set up movie nights back there. Currently on sale for $469 minus a $50 coupon. It’s a decent price for a specialty TV, if you really have that need.
