Going strong 3 years later with lots of use
First thing I’ll mention is about the dimensions. They are listed as 7 x 3.5 x 15 inches. That is likely correct according to their pattern for making the item. But it wears a bit larger than that because the material is a little stretchy, and the water bottle pockets plus the depth of the pack makes it visually wider. When the whole thing is flat without being overloaded, it’s about 10.5″ wide x Can be filled to be about 4.5″ deep and about 16″ tall.I find this important as someone on the shorter/petite side. So this isn’t negative, but if you refer to a ruler before ordering things in attempts to minimize returns like I do – this pack wears larger than it’s dimensions…. which is also what makes it capable of holding so much in a relatively small space. It hasn’t been used daily, but both myself and my husband have worn this pack to Universal, Disney, on multiple hikes locally and through several National Parks (sometimes with a hydration bladder inside) and through multiple days of walking in bigger cities. It’s been a day pack for road trips. It’s been taken to kid sport events and lessons. It’s been put through the washing machine and line dried a few times and looks great (even though I picked the funky mustard yellow color). It’s been a secondary carry-on item on a few flights. The mesh water bottle/umbrella holders have functioned well for various sizes of store-bought water bottles AND 20oz reusable stainless steel bottles. Love the organizing pockets inside. I originally thought the vertical zipper would be strange, but it is actually very functional and can hold more than it seems. If I could change anything, it would be to make the phone holder on the strap a bit thinner/more sleek looking/help it blend in with the strap a bit more. Only for times when I am feeling vain and would rather have a less sporty/more “fashion forward” strap on my chest. It would just be a nice option. That being said, the zippered phone pouch is really handy, and since it is a little deeper/thicker than phone, can also hold sunglasses INSIDE the zipper. It’s a great bag.

Long Review But Worth the Read
I read a lot of reviews and looked at many pictures of different brands of sling bags. There were many reviews that complained the phone pocket was too close to the top of the strap making it uncomfortable in the neck and chin area. I ordered Waterfly because the pictures I looked at gave me a good view of the space between the shoulder and the phone case on the strap. The other pictures I saw were of poor workmanship of stitching, etc. Because there is no guarantee you will get a “good” quality product, I made sure I examined the bag meticulously when I unpacked it. I have found this Waterfly bag to be very well made and there is plenty of space between my chin and the phone sleeve. I put my iphone 12 in the phone pocket with room to spare. I also like having net pockets on each side. Each pocket will fit a container the size of a 16 oz water bottle, which is also stated in the description of the product (2.5″). The inside zipper pocket holds 8.5×11″ papers without folding in half. The only downside, if there is one, is that it does not have RFID protection. However I do have a RFID pocket sleeve that fits nicely inside. I bought the sling bag for a trip I’m taking in Aug, however I had the chance to use it already on a short bike trip. It held just what I needed, it didn’t slip around and was comfortable with the phone in front. It is also small enough to fit in my larger backpack when I travel by air. I found it to be a good purchase.Update to 1st review: I ended up removing the phone pocket on the strap cause it bothered me after all. Still a nice bag.

Nice Small bag for day trips
I bought this bag for outings / day trips when I need my hands-free for camera. The water bottle area is slightly small as the comments indicate, especially for most of the larger water bottles available, but I did find a slim insulated stanley that fits well. The quality seems good. I’m tall, so I’m still trying to adjust the strap to fit me that is comfortable. I might buy a cushion like I have on my seat belts to help cushion where the straps hits in front. Yes, once you put things in it, it will slide, but so would any backpack. My old samsung phone fits just fine in the small pocket. I was able to fit in the things I needed for the trip without problem. The strap is comfortable, and the weight of the bag it is good – much less than my purse when full! I liked having hands-free, and a place to old my water bottle. I’d probably wear it on the front if I was traveling at a theme park or out of the country so you have more security over your stuff. Once I started putting things it, it filled up quickly, but it held everything I needed for the day. The back is padded and the strap over the shoulder so that was nice. So far very happy with it.

Perfect for travel, adventure, or everyday use. Great buy!
I brought this for a 2 week trip to New Zealand, and I’m so glad I brought it. I used it for outdoor activities like hiking and biking, or just walking around town. The phone pouch in the front was great. So easy to retrieve my phone quickly for a photo, then pop it back in again to keep it safe. The back pouch was large enough to accomodate snacks and a hat, plus the outside pocket worked for sunscreen. Inside pockets kept my passport and credit cards tucked away, and a handy little clip so your keys didn’t get lost in the bottom. Side pockets held my 18oz water bottle no problem. Very comfortable – you can switch the strap from one side to the other and the top/shoulder and chest part is padded. And nice looking to boot. I got the teal color.
