Instructions weren’t great, but adequate. Once you figure out how to cut old grip off and use plenty of solvent on included tape, the new one slides right in place. Just remember to mark which way you want grip to remain (aligned with club face) and after a few extra minutes on first club it’s easy peasy.

Re-gripping your own clubs is easier than you think and it’s very cost effective
I’m glad I decided to try gripping my clubs on my own. I found it easy to do and the only thing you need other than what is in this kit is a vice to hold the club in. I had been experimenting with going to midsize grips and didn’t feel like paying for grips, labor, and then having to wait for a couple of days to get my clubs back. I grabbed some midsize tour velvets’ and tried them out on a few clubs before doing the rest of the set. Some tips:- The cutter works well but be careful with graphite shafts cause it will mark them.- Get the cutter into the old grip and slice at a 45 degree angle rather than 90 so it doesn’t score the shaft.- Put something under the club to catch the excess liquid so you can reuse it if necessary.- Taking off the old tape is a bit of a pain, if it’s still sticky and not torn up from removal of the old grip you can sometimes just slip the new one and forget about changing the tape.

Great kit. Easy to use. Has everything you need. I wasn’t sure how much fluid would be required. Plenty of fluid. Used for 13 grips, and still have fluid left.

OH i was so nervous! After being told it was going to take 2 weeks to get my clubs Re-gripped I bought 3 grips for my most used clubs and an oversized grip for the putter. Watched video after video and am glad I found this package! Came with the knife that made things so easy to use. I did go to a neighbour’s to use his vice which did make the process easier. I am so pleased with this purchase!
